HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!

White Rose Senior Center would love to invite you to join in all of the great activities and NEW Activities that we have planned for 2024!

Each month we will pick randomly a “Senior of the Month” by using a computer-generated wheel. For January 2024, Peggy Horton will be FIRSY for lunch, Fresh Express, the Senior Commodity Supplemental Box, crafts, games, etc. To be included and highlighted for the month, you must eat inside the building on a regular basis.

Help Support White Rose Senior Center on Giving Tuesday on November 28, 2023

White Rose Senior Center is asking for your support on November 28, 2023, Giving Tuesday.

We are using this day as our “kick-off” for “DECK THE HALLS”. Our goal is to raise $1000 to benefit our White Rose Senior Center Members and to make the Center FESTIVE for the HOLIDAYS!

  • Your participation and financial contribution will support WRSC initiatives
    $10 Centerpiece (17 Tables, 17 Table Centerpieces to be sponsored!)  This is for decoration only. For $10.00, you can sponsor your table’s centerpiece. The incentive? If you purchase a Centerpiece, your table gets to go for lunch in the order your Centerpiece is purchased). Christmas Centerpieces to be placed on Tables on December 1st.

Month at a Glance - October 2023

Fun Fall Activities are being planned at White Rose Senior Center in October! We have all sorts of crafts, games, food distributions, education programs to help you, a vaccine clinic for a variety of vaccines, Cash & Gift Card Bingo, hot dog sale, R&K Sub and Sandwich Sale, plus a Halloween Bash to end the month!

You need to be 60 or over, a York County resident, and able to care for yourself unless you have a person assisting you. We will be glad to register you and set up the van with Rabbittransit if you need that service. We are here to add to your day and will be happy to get to know you!
