Month at a Glance - July 2026

Welcome July!

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of America's freedom, we invite you to celebrate community, friendship, and fun with us at White Rose Senior Center! July is filled with exciting opportunities to stay active, learn something new, and connect with friends. Whether you're a longtime member or haven't visited in a while, we'd love to see you

This month features a wonderful variety of activities, including exercise classes, games, crafts, birthday celebrations, food distributions, a trip to Shady Maple, entertainment, visits from York County School of Technology nursing students, Seniors Farmer Market Nutrition Vouchers, and a Creative Writing Class with Heath Harding. We also encourage everyone to come inside and enjoy lunch together, just like we did before COVID. Grab-and-go meals are still available, but by dining with us at the center, you help support our meal program while enjoying good food and great company. We look forward to welcoming you this July!

Month at a Glance - October 2025

Fall reminds us that change can be truly beautiful — the trees let go of their leaves in bursts of color, showing us that transformation can be something to celebrate. At White Rose Senior Center, we embrace that same spirit of growth and renewal each October. This season, members can take part in a Scam Awareness Workshop to stay informed and protected, explore creativity in our Acting Workshop with TAFE, make amazing Fall Crafts, be aware of Breast Cancer, participate in our Health Fair and the Vaccination Clinic, have the opportunity to purchase Fall Fruits and Vegetables, join in the fun of Oktoberfest, kick off the Football Season, dress in your favorite Halloween Costume, and enjoy plenty of cozy fall fun together. Just like the changing leaves, each activity brings new opportunities to learn, connect, and shine in a different way.
